As a nation we’re too consumed in buying more stuff. Trading stuff for more stuff, and selling back old stuff to get more new stuff.
When you are on your dead bed or at the final location of your death, people will think about the things you did, and created, the way you made them feel when they were nice to you or mean to you. They will remember what you did when they or someone else was in need of something. They will remember your intentions, your actions. Your contributions.
What they won’t care to remember is how much stuff you accumulated.
