You can be the nicest person in the world, but if you’re not in a room full of people nobody will ever know that about you. I keep hearing people say success has a lot to do with network. Who you know, who knows you, and how it applies to your success. So if you just moved to a need city or state I suggest a new approach. Start putting yourself in front of more people.
Go to live events, seminars, plays, take lessons with group. Join networking organizations, and remember that people remember how you treated them the last time you saw them.
It won’t be easy but it’s very possible to meet 2,000 new people over the course of a year. The key is trying to add at least 50% of those 2,000 people to your personal contacts list whether through social media or by a cell phone or telephon number. Work hard and smart on this task for the remainder of your life while accomplishing all of your other goals and see how much of an impact it has on your future endeavors.
