As a consumer try not to constantly get sucked in by the smoke and mirrors. For today and the rest of next month, you’ll be bombarded by television commercials. Buy this, and grab that, for huge discounts. Why don’t these sales exist all year round? They only exist during thanksgiving and christmas in terms of significant they seem.
Companies just want your money and you just want to believe that you’re buying something for much less than it cost. It’s not like companies are giving away free merchandise, so what’s the hype?
The theatrics make you believe you’re getting something that not a lot of people will know about. We all know about it. Yet we all still behave as though this is the only time of year that we can buy stuff.
You’re better than that.
