If you’re fortunate enough…

You already have everything you need in life, in term of absolute essentials (Food, Water). Aside from the essentials, everything else is an option. Meaning you have free will enough to pick and choose how you live your life. If you have shelter, that’s even better. So the next time you decide to complain about something, understand how blessed and fortunate you are to wake up and make choices for yourself.

You can change your circumstances if you’re brave enough and willing to do the work.

The embrace…

Live life as if the worst is already behind you. We stress enough. Lets let go of the negativity, and embrace the good things that continue to happen to us.

We tend to foget how fortunate we are to be living during this time. The things we can build, do and see are phenomonal. Take advantage of your opportunity.

Why do you do what you do?

Is it function of your core self?

Do you do it for fame and fortune?

Are there lives on the line?

Is it meditative?

Therapeutic?

Freeing?

Why do you wake up and get dressed every single day?

These questions are important not only to discover but answer.

Always be re-evaluating what you do and why. Sometimes we lose focus and become robots lost within the technology and habitual behavior of just going through the motions.

Try not to just get through.
Be in the day. Live in it. Remember the struggle. Remember the reasons.
It might change the way you live.

Fixing your imagery

The saying goes “begin with the end in mind “so than how the hell are you supposed to figure out the rest of how the journey is supposed to unfold?
I think when using that quote what’s really meant to be said is, imagine what the completion of your dream or goal looks like. Than you at least know what you’re working towards. Instead of just going into something thinking it’s going to be what you want. It never happens all of the way how you imagine.

With that in mind, don’t go around thinking of the best AND worst-case scenarios. Just imagine the good fortune, and remember to be prepared for the bad things that come into play.
